Examined the following research questions: #1 What is the relationship between the distance and/or time from a woman's planned place of birth to Emergency Obstetrical Services and maternal and neonatal outcomes that builds on the preliminary/previous research? #2 What other factors (e.g., educational, decision support tools, etc.) should/need to be considered when planning for/making birth at home and in communities at a distance from EOS safe?
